The portfolio, as our own system counts it

These figures do not come from a brochure. They are extracted from MEIA, our internal engineering-tracking system, and they count only what was actually contracted and delivered.

36 industrial sites, four continents

Our engineering has gone out to France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, Romania, Russia, Egypt, China, South Korea, the United States and Paraguay. The applicable code framework is therefore never a tacit assumption for us: it is a question asked at the start.

171 contracts, 288 engineering packages

Every contract carries a reference, an agreed scope and hours tracked by task. It is that coding discipline which makes it possible to compare what was estimated with what was actually required — and it is what feeds the overruns we publish on our other pages.

Twelve complete 3D models

Close to 230,000 piping components modelled with their specifications, more than 10,000 isometrics, close to 80,000 welds tagged and more than 30,000 structural members. Every component carries its class, its material and its tag: these are not decorative volumes, they are what allows a bill of materials to be extracted from the model rather than re-entered.

From 13 to 23 people, 129,700 hours tracked

Hours have been tracked by task since January 2022: they total 129,700 hours, for a team that has grown from 13 people in 2022 to 23 in 2026. The observed ratio is 1,840 hours of engineering per person per year. Applied to the growth of the office since 2005, it puts the cumulative figure at around 300,000 hours — an estimate, whose method is set out at the foot of this page.

Beyond these five references

The portfolio counts thirty-six industrial sites. Most of them belong to the food and fermentation industries, the sector we have worked in from the start and whose requirements for cleanability, traceability and material resistance we know.

It is not limited to them. We also work for plant contractors and for industrial companies in other sectors: TGE (Thermique Génie Chimie Évaporation), Citec Engineering, DrM in Switzerland, Air Liquide in Romania.

These assignments do not have the same starting point. A plant contractor entrusts us with a design package within its own framework, with its formats, its milestones and its review cycles; an industrial client entrusts us with the whole chain on its site. Both modes are described on the page devoted to lump-sum engineering.

Every one is an installation in service

All thirty-six sites are plants in operation. Modelling the building and the equipment is not decoration there: it is the only way of proving that new piping fits into a volume already occupied, and that it will remain accessible afterwards.

171 lump-sum contracts, scope by deliverable

Every contract carries a reference, an agreed scope and hours tracked by task. It is that discipline which makes it possible to compare estimate against actual, and to know which of our estimates are stabilised by experience.

Twelve as-built models, a register of 6,043 lines

Close to 230,000 components modelled with their class, their material and their tag, and a register covering 23 piping classes. That is what remains usable after the project.

What is published here deliberately stops at the scope of the services. The detail of a project — the difficulties met, the arbitrations retained, the volumes handled — belongs to our clients, and we do not publish it.

We are glad to discuss it in an appropriate setting, however. If you are preparing a tender and would like a detailed reference on a case close to yours, ask for it: we present it under a confidentiality agreement, and with the agreement of the client concerned where they are identifiable.

Method and sources

The portfolio figures quoted on this page are extracted from MEIA, Moreau Engineering's internal engineering-tracking system, on 19 August 2026. The number of sites, contracts and engineering packages, and the modelling volumes, are measurements. Hours tracking by task starts in January 2022 and totals 129,732 hours; the earlier years are not tracked at that level of detail. The cumulative figure since 2005 is therefore an estimate, and this is how it is built. Over the four full years measured, the office produced 1,842 hours of engineering per person per year. Headcount is known for 2020 and 2021; for the earlier years we assume steady growth from the founding of the office, from two people in 2005 to eight in 2020 — an average of five to six people a year over the first seventeen years. At the same output, that represents about 169,000 hours before 2022, to which the 129,732 hours measured since are added. We give the result as an order of magnitude, not as a measurement. We publish only aggregates, never a figure traceable to an identifiable installation.
